In 2017, I had the chance to integrate the Animator / Ambassador team for Square Enix.
Working with a colleague on the "Final Fantasy XIV" main scene, my job was to prepare the main scene animation (For visitors and guests, but also for internet viewers, because the entire show was streamed).
On the main scene, I had to prepare the game and the setup for each animation. Furthermore, I also had to be reactive to resolve possible problems. (Account issue, device issue...) This year, the Final Fantasy XIV main scene welcomed Naoki Yoshida, The producer, and director of the game and a lot of very good players.
Working as an animator allowed me to understand the organization behind an event like Paris Games Week, but it also allowed to exchange with players and developers about the game. We learned about teamwork despite the stress and the short timing between each animation. Because the Japanese staff was here, everything had to be perfect. It was intense but incredible.
It was a really great experience and a real pleasure to work with Square Enix France and London team.
